Carved from a solid piece of a linden tree. Finished with linseed oil paint and linseed oil. Recommended for dry food use like fruit and bread rather than salads, etc.

The bump on the handles are from the wood drying. As wood dries, it warps slightly. You may see this in other handmade bowls or old dough bowls in antique shops. Sometimes it’s shaved down to straighten things out, but I chose to keep it in the handles here, as a nod to the process.
